Branch Meeting

The next meeting of the South London, Surrey and North Hampshire Branch will take place on Tuesday 17th January 2012 commencing at 7.30pm. The meeting will be completed by 9.30.

This meeting is important as we will be discussing the propositions to be submitted to CWU Annual Conference. It is your chance to influence to policy of the CWU. If you feel strongly about the direction the Union is taking on Pay, or performance management, or recruitment in your company, or any other issue concerning the Union, then please come along.

If you want to submit a proposition, or discuss something you think should be submitted to CWU Conference, then call one of the Branch Offices. We have experienced Branch officers that will help you structure the proposition in the correct format.

This is your chance to say what direction the CWU should be taking, and you will be voting on which propositions go forward in the name of the Branch to be discussed by the Union at it's Annual conference.

The agenda for the meeting will include:

• Propositions for CWU conference

• The latest report on BT Pay

• Branch Annual General Meeting and 2012 Branch Election business

• Business submitted by you.

If you have any issues that you would like discussed at the meeting, please contact the branch office on 020 8774 1661, or the Chairperson Roy Aird on 0794 189 0756 as soon as possible so they can be added to the agenda and be given a timeslot for discussion.

This is your chance to have whatever you and your colleagues would like to discuss on the agenda. If you would like something on the agenda, then email the Branch Chairperson. If you would like to set the direction and policy for the Branch, the please submit a proposition. Branch Officers can help you with the wording and give you advice on how to present it at the meeting. Just give one of us a call.

Refreshments will be provided after the meeting for those in attendance.

Train. Nearest Railway station is Worcester Park  (then bus 213, S3 or X26 to North Cheam)

Car. Plenty of parking on site. Look for the signs "Goals Soccer Centre". The postcode for Sat Nav users is SM3 9BY.

Bus. 93 (24 hour service) and S3, 293 stop directly outside North Cheam Sports and Social club

Group Transport. If there are number of you in the same locality that wish to attend the Branch meeting, but live or work far from venue, then please contact the Branch office. In the past we have hired Mini-buses to get members to Branch meetings. If there are enough of you, then call us and we will see what we can arrange.
